Wintzfelden is a small village situated in a vast clearing, in the heart of the "Vallée Noble", on the site of a village today disappeared, Thannwiller. Wintzfelden is surrounded with woody hills, offering routes of choice to the passionate persons of hikes, equestrian and of mountain bike.

Its nearness with Colmar and Mulhouse (approximately 40 kilometres) also allows to discover the charms, the history and the culture of Alsace through the other neighbouring villages such as Eguisheim and Riquewhir or of museums such as the Ecomuseum in Ungersheim, the national museum of the automobile in Mulhouse or still the Unterlinden museum in Colmar...
